listen and look

ahoy!

To make up for the fact that I have been absent for a good month, I have compiled a grotesquely long list of images from some of my favorite blogs. Yes. I am in fact blog-plagiarizing. And I'm ok with it. Whilst on break I have had many lazy afternoons at my disposal. Most of the time I would choose to spend those hours sitting in bed, drinking tea while reading blogs and daydreaming about the glamorous kind of life these pictures evoke.

I've also stumbled upon a great french blog - most of which I can't read (why did I choose Sign Language as my language instead of French?!?) - but I can definitely appreciate the "Take Away Shows" they produce. Here are 2, one from an amazingly talented new artist I discovered thanks to The Current (Aloe Blacc) and one is from the ever joyful band, Beirut.

    Catherine, I hope you don't mind that I have visited your blog. Whenever someone gives me a thumbs up on FACEBOOK I snoop around a bit to get to know them so that I can pray for them whenever they "pop up".

    YOU - are a gifted writer, Catherine. You have a wonderful way with words. I know you are so busy with college, but you really should write everyday...maybe you are already, I hope so. I think you could make some kind of a career out of your talent.

    I wish I had developed my writing when I was your age. I feel like my blog could be so much more effective, if I had. You also have a wonderful creative eye, beautiful stuff!
